What shape is your BRZ in currently?
I bought my 2018 M6 back in 2019 with 100 miles on it. It was a leftover that didn't sell and the miles it did have was mostly from employees driving it home.
It now has 125k miles and I have never had a single issue with the car. I do all service myself. The oil is changed every 7-8k miles. It still has the factory clutch which is still in good shape with no slippage. Still has factory front pads which still have 50% life. I may be wrong but I believe it still has the original battery. If I changed it out I dont remember. Currently getting 33.5mpg. What current shape is your car in currently and what issues have you had with it if any? |

I thought my 2017 performance pack in late 2019. Original owner bought it in CA, moved to TX, and traded it in at a Jeep dealership in OH where I picked it up. It's now in PA and stored during winters. Zero rust. It's also been Fluid Filmed since I got it just in case.
Bought at 26k, now has ~48k, about 5 years later. I do a lot of autocross events in it - about 25 per year. Brake pads were replaced and upgraded. Rears were almost on metal. Original rotors. Suspension was changed out with coilovers for racing. No issues with the Sachs dampers. Rear control arms also replaced for camber purposes. The battery apparently was replaced in 2019 before I got it. It started leaking again in 2024, so I upgraded to a lightweight AGM one. Clutch is still good, but I'm mentally preparing for it to start slipping at some point with ~200 autox launches per year... for 5 years now. Probably has close to 1,000. Oil gets changed about every 2k or about every 15 autox events. Oil analysis was average. Not bad, but not great. Trying out 5w-30 and seeing if it changes. I was using 0w-20 Motul Ecolite originally. I did unfortunately get a dent in the rocker panel from what I think is a cone now after reviewing some video about a month ago. It's getting pulled out this coming Monday hopefully. It's not terrible and it's underneath, so you barely see it. Fingers crossed it pulls out fine. It does have some rock chips on the hood, bumper, and fenders in the front. Subaru paint things. It's my major gripe with these cars. Another gripe is the kinda clunky 1st to 2nd gear shift still everyone complains about. The gearbox feels clunky in general if you're not shifting at 4k or above. Overall I'm pleased. I'll likely do coolant and spark plugs here next year in the spring. Just did clutch fluid this weekend along with the rear diff and transmission fluid again.

14 bought @ 2K mi, daily-ish driver now @ 141k-ish, tune w/ catless headers & exhaust since about 30k. replaced clutch & redesigned TOB about 80k w/ fresh transmission & diff oil, battery replacement once, still on original brake pads but i think thats coming up soon. plans to replace spark plugs, timing chain & fresh coolant next time it goes for a major repair.
body is beat up, rear bumper from dragging bikes on a trunk rack, have since moved on to hitch bolted to bumper. hood roof & trunk from multiple hail storms or limbs falling during the epic ice storms, 3 cracks in windshield from rocks getting flung up. engine bay dirty as hell. likely go gen 2 when motor pops or gets totaled out. |

That's crazy if the battery is the same from 2018. Mine is a 2017 and I'm on my third battery. Especially with 125K miles, that's kinda crazy. I have about 80-85K miles on mine. Batteries last about 3 years, but it is winter driven and I am in Canada.

Just had to get me one after trying out my brothers WRB 2015.
Its my summer car & make do cross country RV camper every few years ... Resting from end of November to 1 st of April. Mods: pretty much unmolested except for some RED pieces. God I love to start it up after them 5 boring months ! (besides the skiing!) Driven since April 2019 at 135Km (84K miles) of summer fun. Never changed the brake pads yet. Fuel pump recall was done. Plugs changed, mostly dealer serviced although they keep pestering me for the past 3 years for battery(failed test), tires, wipers, brakes and cabin filter I cant see a reason why I should.... Battery is functional (driveway is on an incline why worry?) , wipers don't streak, last time I checked the pads look as thick as the replacements I have been procrastinating to change for the past year or so... Tires are not rusting.. 2 yrs old Bonus :cabin filter is same size as my other year round fateful. So I can stock up when they go on sale. A few door dings collected that buffed out quite fine. The ouch: My street got redone 2 years ago and just after they made the (high)curb and before they repaved I tried to short cut out of the driveway one dark early morning and ripped off the Bumper cover... got a quick fix done for 10$ ...just noticed that my Key fob battery may be dead, just so happens I just picked up quite a few these last summer for my numerous bike speedos! |

Too many cars and not enough time. I spend six months in Scotland (Summer) and six month in Florida (Winter). It doesn't get driven much when I'm in Florida.

20 tS 46k, edelbrock sc and delicious flex fuel setup. Roasted through factory clutch last year. Been through a set of tires and pads. Front sti lip has some cracks. Two wheels have some rash.
Otherwise it rips and I’m happy to walk up to it when it’s clean, full of gas, oil changed, and I’m confident to go tear around. |

Got my 2017 new spring 2018, it was leftover stock. Now has 178,000km(about 110k miles)
Ran like a top the entire time. TOB was pretty tired around 130k, changed it as preventative and refreshed the clutch while taking trans off. Use it near everyday, rain, snow etc. looking forward to another 100k.

Mine is currently sitting on jacks awaiting a shock rebuild. The car is doing great though. Bought it coming up on 2 years ago with 135k miles, I'm at 148k miles now. The engine was replaced at some point prior to my ownership. In my time, the only issues I've had with it are one of the rear wheel bearings was bad (I knew about it when I bought it), and an axle seal was leaky. Otherwise the car has been amazing. It's seen probably 25 autocross events, and been driven halfway across the country. I remember debating buying this one because of the miles, but it felt more solid than examples I had driven with half the mileage.
