Track Pad Swap Question
I will be using a track specific pad for the track and a street pad for daily use. When I remove the track pads is it important to be sure they go back in the same position (drivers vs. passenger side/inside vs. outside of caliper) when reinstalling for the next track event? I assume it does not matter, but would rather be sure.

Related question - is there a specific bedding in process to follow when switching pads?

Yes you should try to label them so you know which caliper and position inner or outer but its not 100% required.
Try to stick with the same compound for street and Track. Example I use Carbotech 1521's for street driving (100% quiet) and switch XP10's/8's for track driving and never need to re-bed. But if they are different manufactures or pad materials you will/want to bed the pads in each time or risk not getting optimal brake feel/stopping power

Thanks, sounds like just normal bedding, not some tricky cleaning process prior to swapping the pads. Just need an extra day or so rather than switching at the event.

We did a couple videos on this topic...hopefully these help. These methods will work on any pads and discs once you understand the underlying concepts.
