Oh damn looks amazing. But I'm too chicken to cut it open. The front was already a pain in the butt to do!

lmao.. well thank goodness. I wasnt going to do this. I'm just going to VHT the lens red and leave the blinker clear. Then I was going to spray a black eyelid over the top part of the taillight. Like I saw done on a white one somewhere on here. It looked good. Kudos to anyone that breaks open the light though. I just cant see myself having luck with that. xD

these look really nice but do you mind posting a picture of the housing installed with your trunk open? I'd like to see how noticeable the cuts are?

could you draw a red line showing where you cut along the tail lights? it's sort of hard to make out with the plastic being black.

also i highly recommend using a hot knife or soldering iron under the vanity gaurd, and dremel the rest. And be careful where the gasket goes. I bent the rim where it sits a tad and it let water in...had to take them back apart clean and reseal, plus make a better gasket. |

Also, you'd think this would be one of the first kind of tail light mods that would be in the market. It is just so simple and matures the look of the car so much. I really appreciate the look of the two LED circles at night. I definitely don't want to give up the classic two circle tail lights for some gimmicky aftermarket solution (Yes even the TOM's). |

Does anyone know how to tint the taillights like this? i wanna leave the turn signals clear. Im not sure if its a vinyl overlay or did they just tape it up and tint over it.
