megalogviewer does look like it'll do whats required though so I'll see if my boss will stretch to paying for it.....
Open the csv file in excel or any other spreadsheet program and take out the top lines so that the column headers are in the top row

It surprised me too. Not sure why ECUtek decided to add the new info at the top. I guess it's to help those that deal with multiple platforms etc. OFT users have had to do this for some time as the tablet places similar info at the top.

and yes your're right the stat analysis tool gets you about 80% of the way there so I'll give that a go for settting the SD table up
