Back to OP's question, if you are getting an M/T, you might want to get a 2017+ due to throw out bearing issues ($800 repair). The TOB was updated in MY2017 cars. But OTOH I haven't had any issues after replacement.
There have been a handful of 17s with the TOB issue since it was changed late in 2016 and some 17s had already been built. They are even included in the TSB. The issue is pretty hit and miss anyway with many guys having put a pile of miles on with no issues. Others of us had it fail in spectacular manner way early.

My car has never lost so much as a drop of oil so this is another thing that seems to be really hit and miss.
