Two things. The first is the flywheels are not anywhere near as light as they used to be. I remember seeing 5 and 6 pound flywheels back then. Even the lightest now is about 12 pounds. The second thing is the clutch is so much better. You can get an aftermarket clutch the drives just like stock and can handle an extra 100 pound feet of torque. No more clutches that feel like you are driving a dump truck.
