Curious if your CEL was resolved by a new battery? Or did you replace the sensor itself? I just got P0327 (same condition, other side) a few minutes ago.. Coincidentally, I just replaced my original battery just a few weeks ago with a nice new AGM Miata battery from East Penn/Deka. No issues with cranking the car up, even after sitting for days, but the CEL just popped on as I was cruising along at 30mph or so. I cleared it, but it came right back..
I might put a battery tender on the car tonight, then clear the CEL and see if it comes back...
