I was about to buy this kit. Only reason I held off is because my current financial situation.
They do intend to have a intercooled version early next year. Not 100% sure if they were going to have it as a upgrade that you could buy after or not.
I can't speak for works. But I don't think this kit was made to be a track killer. But I did see them at Laguna Seca with it for a hpde event.
As far as having a kit with no intercooler at all, I am comfortable At low psi without it.
My celica does not have a intercooler with the greddy supercharger and has fairly high compression. When I was on 91 octane I did fine at 11 psi on all but the hottest days in summer.
Now on e85 it is a non issue for my car.
