The higher ET42 offset keeps the wheel tucked under the fenders for a flush fitment without poke so that camber is not a requirement.

For enthusiasts running the PP Sachs struts (which have a slightly larger silhouette), or for enthusiasts that plan to dial in camber at the knuckle using camber bolts, we recently developed an ARC-8 17x9" ET35 which will position the wheel 7mm further away from the strut thus avoiding the need for spacers. Due to the more aggressive offset, a touch of negative camber is recommended to prevent the wheel and tire from poking. The new ARC-8 17x9" ET35 will be live on our site this week!

The idea is to give 86/BRZ owners both 9" fitment options to ensure drivers can acquire a wheel that best suits their specific needs without compromise.

Would running lowering springs affect the need for spacers with the ET42 wheels?
