Anyway, any long term plans for the car? Mods? Your join date is 2013 and you've said you've been following the cars since then, and I'm guessing probably even before that with all the concepts that were released.
No worries! It's good to discuss this kind of stuff because I'm still fairly new to cars and since this is my first, I might as well learn about this!

So when I started I actually hadn't really heard of the concepts.

I saw the twins in 2012/early 2013 and for a little while mostly really liked the look of the car. But around then I also started lurking the forums here and other car websites and began to learn why the twins are the way they are. I knew I didn't need to have a V8 Mustang or whatever with tons of power. Just something that would ride nicely on fun roads (I love road trips, excluding any on the boring 5 freeway in CA lol).

As far as plans go, I have some ideas:

There are a few appearance "mods" I'd like to do eventually, like getting side skirts and a front splitter, plus either plastidipping or just swapping the chrome word badges on the back to matte black (I feel like it'd look really sweet on the white color), and also possibly smoked Helix sidemarkers.

I also want to get an air filter replacement but right now there don't seem to be any (or many options) for this year's BRZ with manual transmission. My cousin's told me I should get a short shifter so maybe that, but I don't think I'm quite ready for that lol. I'll also be getting Michelin PSS' eventually, but that might wait until the stock tires wear out (could be a year? depends on how much I drive).

Mostly going to take it easy on the mods for a while. I really want to improve the "driver" mod first, and then get to the point where I can enjoy the car as it was designed. Then once I'm used to it and have an idea of attributes I dislike, then I can work on doing some mods. It's especially important to me since it's my first car, so I'm not coming from experiences with other cars already, if that makes sense. So I basically get to start with a clean slate.
