They are still doing more teardown to check internals. This is just what they got to so far

I thought the issue was two possibilities. It could also break off in the head and clog the return oil passages leading back down to the oil pan/sump, starving the crank.
Just because the sump isn't clogged doesn't mean the silicone at the valve cover gasket isn't blocking other areas. Right?
