I don't buy it for a second. It isn't even a reasonable thought unless somebody has no idea how a global platform works and thinks that it equals a fixed chassis in some way.
The article shouldn't be hard to find since it was one of the ones that Bestcar came out with a while back and then every other clickbait jumped on board with it. Everything that they claimed they knew in that articule they have said the complete opposite in their latest (the one floating around now).
When one clickbait releases their fiction as news then the rest keep quoting it and it appears to be real when all it really is a is a huge game of telephone. They get clicks and make money though so they don't care if accurate or even real.

And Lexus is almost all longitudinal RWD :p
