Yeah, I agree, it would make more sense if there was a set procedure that all dealers followed to standardize customer experience. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is one.

Speaking from experience as an engineer in the manufacturing industry, however: nobody follows the SOP you spent weeks writing. The differences in experiences don’t surprise me at all.
