I don't believe credit is tied into it here. And if it is, I doubt it has much to do with it, since I've had exceptional credit over the past 7 years.
I bet it has more to do with my two tickets (2.5 years ago, I got nailed for 15 over in Saskatchewan (which, should technically be off my record now, since it'll be gone half way through the policy next year) and 1.5 years ago, I got a ticket for an improper turn) than anything.
