They were pretty much untouchable tuned until Nissan released the twin turbo, nearly self driving, AWD computer-mobile GTR.
But that really did set the benchmark high, so I actually don't have that high of a hope for the new one.

Oh I was not implying there were not capable overall with enough love and money poured into them but so is a Pinto. The movie fanboies seem to think they come of the lot like that and all those cool stunts are real life occurrences. No doubt they were an iconic car but half of the hype is from movies and games.
