There is nothing to agree or disagree on here. You are trying to apply your wants and ability across the board and that just isn't even slightly realistic for most of the car owners. For the vast majority of car owners one car fills all their needs perfectly and they have zero desire for a second. Hell, even if they wanted one most couldn't afford it anyway.
Your "alternate way of thinking" works well for you and that is cool but looking down on others because they don't need nor want an off road beater and dedicated fun car as well as something they use daily is ludicrous.
