I’m not going to claim I’ve done research. Observations enough, I understand a little bit of the data to think this: there is greater support that a reaction to a covid vaccine is better understood than the complexities of virus acquisition.

In regards to being afraid of the virus. No. As a part of a community and complex society, I would like to contribute to minimizing the risk of susceptible humans so I can run on the trails and not have to stop or slow down to allow others to pass, to go enjoy a film on opening night and not have the person next to me worry about me transmitting, to go eat in a restaurant because I want the environment, to go to my orchid society meetings and not have the elderly absent because of their risk factors. Those are normal things and I want to care for my community around me. Not because I’m afraid of acquiring the virus, rather I care about my city, campus, neighborhood and block that I’m not going to put myself before others to do those things.
