Well, the real issue is they made the wheel well to fit larger wheels/tires because they knew folks would change them out.

Frankly I don't find a drop much of a solution because all it does is close the gap at the top. I'd rather have the symmetrical gap than no gap at the top and a wide one at the bottom.

If If were going to "fix" it, I would go with larger (more sidewall) tires rather than larger wheels. Since mine is primarily a road car, I would hope it would help soften the ride a bit, plus I HATE low profile tires.
