my buddy and me have been talking about forced air with the compression on the frs/brz with it being 12.5:1 that is already very high as it is. adding 10lbs of boost you ''should'' be around 21:1 and 20lbs of boost ''should'' be around 29.51:1
now those are some insainly high compression ratios. and to me it sounds like it shouldnt work. but clearly it is. and no one can seem to understand why or howlong.
i mean if sportsguy83's car is still running well on 20lbs, running e85 if i can remember correctly which would bring compression down a fair bit but not far enough to be a practical DD. thinking about this the last 2 days has made my brain hurt.
My advice is to think about turbo diesel engines.
