They are two different cars at different price points. I had a 2013 BRZ Limited, a bunch of cars in between, and now own a 21 Supra.
It comes down to what you want and your goals, my last three cars all had excess of 400whp with little to no mods. So I find the Supra to be the perfect balance for me in terms of handling and power. With very little mods I am pushing over 400whp/tq and with a few suspension changes the car is extremely planted and direct.
An insider confirmed over the weekend that the 3.0 2023 Supra will offer a manual trans. This same insider provided tons of factual information about the car before launch and seems to have personal connections with Tada. We also have third party pictures of the manual gearbox from someone who claims their buddy is testing the manual Supra. It all seems very likely at this point and Tada had hinted before that a manual could come if sales supported it.
I guess they did
