^ We are just not setup to mass produce turbo kits, if we chose to one day go down that path then we will be able to offer just kits or components like some of the other race shops but at the moment that is not our focus.

We are known for our engine building and tuning expertise so when we offer a turn key solution we normally try and make it the safest and most reliable horsepower offering for that vehicle. At the time we released the kit, no other full engine management solution was available apart from EcuTek which didn't and still does not offer some of the added benefits that the Haltech unit provided us with (minus the direct injection control). Now EcuTek has made leaps and bounds in the "other" areas, still not live tuning but none the less they are getting better and better.

As far as other options, Motec M1 wasn't officially released, Syvecs to this date I don't think is officially released so we went with what we knew would provide us with the safe, reliable control. The Haltech is 1/2 the price of Syvecs and 1/3 of Motec M1 which do have live tuning, direct injection control along with port injection control but again, these were not available at the time.

With that said, we sell, install and tune plenty of other manufacturers kits from our FRSMOD.com webstore. We tune with EcuTek on all of them and don't have any issue doing so. For 99% of customers, the EcuTek software is perfectly fine. I think John meant to start a new topic in the FI section but posted in a thread by mistake. Either way, we were pleased to meet John and glad he made the trip up from Florida. We are always pleased to hear when customer enjoyed his experience with us!
