I have no shooting stories of my own as I was not allowed to fire or be around my fathers guns when he was shooting. After he passed away I inherited 1/4 of his antique arms collection. We gave away or sold over 200 pieces and still my brothers, brother-in-law and myself received over 400 pieces each.
My father had everything from match locks, flits, percussion cap, black and smokeless powder long and hand guns to a few modern hunting and military pieces. He had a large number of edged weapons from poisoned arrows (long story) knives, swords, a suit of armour and even a Maasai lion hunting spear.
When the fiberal (lying liberal) government started their anti gun push in the 1990's I sold all but a few pieces of my collection. I kept my mother's Winchester model 697, my father's .22 target, the spear and a powder horn my wife liked.
Oh by the way humfrz... I love your diamond ring!
