So for a engine newb like me, what I take from this is that the oil heats up faster in this configuration; yet stays at a cooler temp during hard driving? That math doesn't add up to me so can someone explain what this system is doing?

The other oil cooling kits I viewed seemed to make more sense in that you're running the oil through a radiator type device to air cool it during hard driving... So I guess I just don't understand how this "wet" system works.

Not knocking the system, just trying to improve my horrible mechanical knowledge!
