Modern low I would consider Scotchguard>VentureShield>Pro for 3M. I only market Venture and Pro as Scotch is not nearly as easy to install as Venture or Pro.

If compound doesn't fix the issue I'd say go back to your installer and have the piece warranties if possible. If not, just pay for it to be redone. Not sure on the market where you are but in my area I'd say $150 to replace it.

And in case he didn't tell you, don't use bug and tar remover on clear bras. Can cause bad chemical reactions.
