About noon today as I was coming back home with a load of Jack-in-the-Box "food" to feed the starving granddaughters, I was passed by a dark colored Porsche of some sort. I knew it was a Porsche because when it was behind me in traffic, I noticed the emblem.
As I pulled away from a light on a straight 4 lane street, I was accelerating at a modest rate when I was startled by this Porsche "flying" by me. There was no forewarning of it coming, no smoking or squealing of tires, no loud exhaust no sound at all except when it passed me, then that car sounded like a fighter jet taking off at full throttle!
He then kept the hammer down for another 1/4 mile or so. I estimated his speed in excess of 100 mph, again with no sound except a loud whoosh as he quickly flew almost out of sight.
Welp, that was my excitement for the day. -
