I use a different technique. I don't use my heel to blip the throttle. I roll my foot and hit it with the side of my shoe.
My heel never hits the throttle pedal. I slide my seat 3 inches away from maximum extension with a very upright seat back at all times.

You don't have to use your heel and you can be very consistent. Everyone is different anatomically so experiment and find a way that works for you.
