You know, I just thought of something stupid (but could work) as I took a look at the pictures on this thread. One of the odd things about the shape of the new BRZ bumper, is the cutoff line for the grille. If you "cut" that off and replace it with another grille piece theoretically, or even do something as simple as paint it black, it could give the bumper an improved look. Maybe not, but I'd say it's not bad.
Here is a very shitty 10 second render in paint that shows what I mean.
I can imagine this car will look pretty good in black, as many cars often do.
