Did you not read the product details on the Essex website? This kit is designed for this car, and to be used with stock rear brakes, therefore it maintains the brake bias.
Speaking of which, I believe brake bias can be messed up even without a BBK. Simply fitting the wrong combo of front/rear pads on factory calipers can alter the brake bias...
