Looking for input

My supercharger has been extraordinarily loud lately. The whine is extremely audible and it hasn't always been like this. I changed its air filter & topped iits oil earlier this season. Daily driver only. Prob has around 50,000 miles on the compressor.

The whine is directly correlated to rpm, so as I accelerate the whine increases intensity.

It's not a BAD sound, it sounds dope to be honest, now it's clearly audible that my cars boosted but I started it up this morning and it simply sounds like the belt is meeting resistance in the compressor.

Is this increased sound a bad omen?

I guess I should see how much effort it takes to turn the turbine by hand? Not sure how to do this, take the belt off and unclamp a hose?
