A late post, but I wanted to voice my opinion on your perspective. Near the end of the video you argue the idea of needing to shift frequently in a stock FR-S, most notibly to find power, took away from your "focus of driving". Please remember that this car was designed to teach you to become a better driver. . These fundamentals of lower power and use of the gearbox (which I find enjoying to use more often) are part of what make this car so great. The whole experience of needing to work for the power and keep it consistent as the drive evolves is very engaging, a true drivers car.
