First and foremost I want to thank 2018 President Jonah (Finch), and fellow Board Members Josh (Pish), Tricia (86FRESH), and Trevor (MisterSheep) for the past year of service. It has been a great pleasure and honor to work together with you all on the NorCal86 Board, and with some of you for multiple terms now. Likewise a shout out to all the other former Board members who have served with me over the past 4 years: Jessie, Randy, Scott, and Sheena.
Having served on the Board and as your community representative from 2014-2018, I have watched our community explode with enthusiasm and energy. It’s been an amazing ride and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to watch it from a front row seat. We’ve enjoyed tremendous success with fantastic events and wonderful memories. If you are considering running for a position on the Board, I definitely encourage you to put your name in the hat. It’s a labor of love but it has incredibly rewarding moments.
After 4 years of serving on the Board I think it’s a good time to step down and hand over some of the responsibility to others. It will allow me to focus on some other projects and things in my life that need more attention.
With the experience and talented leadership of El Presidente Finch (who I of course unreservedly support again for the 2019 campaign
) I am confident that NorCal86 sits on a solid foundation and will remain in good hands. I’m excited to see what the future holds for NorCal86. I of course will continue to be an active and vocal member of the community for the foreseeable future (or at least until I can get a smoking hot deal on a new Supra).
