I can get the +45 much cheaper and prefer the look over +35. Just not sure how much I’m limiting myself brake wise. This is for a fun dd car that will also see some HPDE / autox, but again for fun so don’t need to go insane, but still want fairly high end. Will I still have good options without spacers?

+45 offset, limits your options, but on the same coin +35 doesn't clear much either. +35 offset clears AP Racing Kit and FHI Subaru 4 pots. Anything like Brembo PP, GT Brembo, Stoptech or Endless you will need spacers or wont fit at all.
For HPDE/Auto X, your better off upgrading your Rotors, Pads and Lines and going for +45 offset. Good Luck.
