Just show up if you can make it. I'll put out some information prior to the drive. The only real advice is do not break your comfort zone. If you believe something is unsafe - don't do it. I would also recommend leaving your Traction Control/Vehicle Stability Control on for the drive.
Side note: you might be able to find some guys driving down from Austin too if you want to caravan.
