It's not just about build quality though. There will be much more of them out there than s2000s. So, pricing on the used market will be more competitive.

Price will also greatly depend on what else hits the market. if Nissan cancels their IDx and Mazda never shows a new RX sports car, the FRS/BRZ/GT86 will continue to be the most popular recent light RWD sports car, and that will keep prices up somewhat.

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised they are as high as they are used right now for being on the 3rd model year. I want them to depreciate faster so I can pick one up for < $15k. haha.
