Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I am having a hard time figuring out the correct answer for this.
I will be tracking my car, so I want to make sure I have this sorted. I have a build date of 06/12, but I have a newer ECU ID of ZA1JB01C. This was flashed by the dealer back in 2014. Am I okay to track using the current rom?
Steve99 makes it seem like I am good, because I have a newer software version. CSG Mike makes it seem like it doesn't matter if I have an upgraded oem tune, only an aftermarket tune will fix the issue.
Not sure if I'm understanding things incorrectly. Can someone provide some clarification?
