Im betting that this is like a C5 to C6 Corvette transition. Improved engine, chassis, new styling but still a lot of the same foundation underneath.

It is not realistic to expect a complete overhaul every 4, 5 or even 6 years no, but this car is now pushing it's 10th year since final development. Remember that there were 2012s (built in 2011) released in much of the rest of the world. That is a long, long time to have only a couple of mild refreshes and nothing really "new" to offer the public. The "press" and internet "enthusiasts" will crucify them if this is all they are offering.
