You're also assuming additional details that the OP never mentioned. Let's re-read his post:

"Went something like this this rainy morning:
“Hello, unfortunately we left the windows down in your car and it’s filled with water. We sent it out to be detailed. Very sorry.”"

There's no pertinent information regarding amount of time that passed from the rain's start nor the duration that the water sat inside the car. They also said "filled with water" - which doesn't sound like it was just an hour of weak drizzling that lightly misted the floor's carpets.

Frankly I don't understand why you're pulling the "it's just a little water, ya *****" act and dying on a hill about this. It's simply incorrect to say "Suck it out with a vacuum leave the windows down for a couple of hours and bingo as good as new." - no, it's not "good as new", not by a long shot.

How dare you question the allknowingness of the King Poster...beg for forgiveness!
