I'm suggesting that the car loves a thrashing for a break in. I have broken in two of them now. One by the book and one a bit more subtle than above.

Thrashing it during break in makes the car feel faster and more responsive down the line.

Not sure how good it is for the engine in the long run, but it does produce results.
