The impression seems to be that it is cheap, easy and fast to swap an engine. I suppose the availability of kits does make it ever so slightly easier than six or seven years ago but it is still not cheap nor fast.
There are probably several hundred half done projects sitting and rotting under tarps beside garages for every completed swap no matter what year, make and model car you are talking about.
I would say, buying FI kit is cheaper and faster route. If they wanna do cheaper/easier swap, I would look into FA20DIT and make it FMIC instead of TMIC. Custom header. Put MoTec and all good, cuz rest are drop in... (kinda)
