Product failures are taken very seriously here at Mishimoto and we intend to identify the issue, inspect our product design, and make any changes needed to ensure this never occurs again. We have offered this thermostat for quite some time and have numerous customers utilizing it without issue. Our assumption is this unit was defective in some way or improperly manufactured. If this is the case, we will determine how this occurred and develop a solution to assure this does not happen to any future users.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and poor experience. We will be reaching out shortly with further details regarding the acquisition of the failed component.
