since the mid 90's the majority of General Motors vehicles have been equipped with onstar-- basically a dedicated cellular connection to be used for emergencies and like a cell phone. it's not a chrysler feature. and debuted 3 years after my car had been built.

i had a lot of fun with the newer model year stickers. it was actually a very interesting but unintended social experiment.

when people started constantly calling into question how new my old car was--many of which were car people that knew that production had ended 5-6 years before that time, in ways better than i ever could, i came to the realization there's a an expectation to most people that stickers on things are telling the truth first, and the majority of people don't use any sort of reasoning, or check any facts against a simple $2 sticker on a multi-thousand dollar piece of equipment.
