This old chestnut, again. I appreciate some polished prototype photo from eons ago may be enough to make you blind to the negatives, but let's try.. The JDL manifold fouls the undertray/skidpan (apparently they're correcting this). My collector didn't look like that. My manifold wasn't de-burred properly inside. My flexi-joints are making a horrendous noise which makes my car embarrassing to drive in public.
Now i'm sure JDL will sort all of these problems out, eventually, but it's not all roses. If & when JDL are able to supply a reliable manifold which looks as nice as that original photo then yes, it's the best one to buy, at least from a pretty/not_annoying factor. No idea on reliability yet, well apart the noise I mention.
