doesnt help that people were dropping their pans and cleaning out the rtv. sure they may have avoided a failed motor(with zero proof that cleaning it will avoid failure), but should this have been a big issue, those potentially failed motors would have helped convince Subaru to do something about this.

Just confirmed the guy with 50k miles on his BRZ has not opened up his oil pan and doesnt plan to.

he hasnt done any track days, but does drive on backroads often
