Rod bearing, motor over revved, missed going from 1st into 2nd during a (cough) spirited Saturday night street challenge (cough)
, went back into 2nd rpms way too high (above 8000, probably close to 9000). Didn't know it happened until the challenge was over (I won). Then I started hearing a metal on metal noise, knock, knock and I don't mean like the "whos there" kind.
