I have a question about heat.

I’m running the 210SPS, intercooled version of the Sprintex. Love it! But it does generate a fair bit of heat. Particularly when we have mid summer days around 35C/95f and sometimes hotter. I do try and run a bit of ethanol as it burns a bit cooler than normal petrol, but can’t always get it.
I have also done a 6 month oil change (instead of annual) with some great liquimoly oil.

1. Do vents in the hood really make a difference?

2. I’ve been offered a better coolant option for the intercooler which apparently helps keep average temps down a good 5-8C (tested and verified apparently, but it’s info from my local installer who hasn’t steered me wrong yet).

3. Other options to consider?

I’m not looking to spend huge cash on this.
