My strut bar sits at the back of the supercharger... not near the front where the pulley is... and the pulley is rubbing lightly on the heat pad thing on the stock bonnet/hood.
So doubt a strut bar is a problem, it’s the part where the hood curves down towards the front bumper you’ll need to check.
Your varis hood is great!
