They were having a blast. They said at the beginning they were going to get smoked by everyone, but that was apparently their shot at getting on the track to film. They probably didn't want to wait a month for the next shot, or mix it up with a bunch of newbs at an open event. They weren't racing anyone but the clock and each other, but they were pleasantly surprised at not getting completely blown out by the much more expensive and capable cars out at that particular event on that particular day.
