I hated the IS when I first saw it.
I saw it as even worse than the 2nd generation (the first generation holds a special place in my heart).
However, seeing it on the streets more and more, I've grown to find it far better looking than the Bavarians' offerings.
My wife (who is by no means a car enthusiast) even suggested we get the IS in the future (once they drop to more affordable levels).
As for the predator grille, I think Lexus gets dumped on no matter what - either they're too boring, or they're ugly ("polarizing" to be gentle).
But I think it looks great. Better than the Audi maw for sure.
And the LFA does look bland for a 375k supercar, even if it is an incredible technical achievement.
