Sorry, I can't comment on the rev# for valve spring replacement protocol, but you stated pretty much the primary reason I got mine done.
Got the car at 42k miles. Dripping oil at the cam plate cover thingy. Got kinda icky when driving it hard.
Car was due for an oil change, and thought new coolant courtesy of Toyota was kinda neat, so I took my car in.
Oil leak fixed!
