Hi all,
I found a small (maybe 1/4 inch diameter) yellow spot on my rear fender today. I am not sure if it's from a bird poop; I carry QD around and wash my car fairly often, but I could have missed the spot so bird droppings can't be ruled out.
The only weird thing is that the spot doesn't seem to be even with the surrounding paint, it's hard to tell if it's higher or lower. Subaru has pretty bad QC in terms of paint it seems and a professional detailer kindly buffed out a spot overspray for me on the same fender.
Does this look like bird poop etching to you guys? Should I try and hand polish it out (I have the Ultimate Compound and polish) or leave it to the pros?
The car is garaged and is one-month old.
